    3. Greetings, Listers! I wanted to relay an incident regarding Ancestry.com. The end of March I received a phone call from a salesperson at Ancestry (supposedly), wanting me to renew my subscribtion as it would expire the first of April. I was ready to do so until he asked me to verify my credit card number by repeating it to him. Well, that scared me, so I told him I didn't want to renew at this time, give me a number and I'll call later and renew. Fine, he said, and he gave me the number. I decided the next day that I didn't want to renew, and figured that was that. Well, on April 6, Ancestry.com sent me an e-mail and informed me that unless they heard from me immediately they would automatically charge my credit card and renew my subscribtion. I tried to call their 800 number but the office was closed (BEFORE their posted hours, too), so I e-mailed back EMPHATICALLY stating that they did not have my permission to charge my credit card and I was no longer interested in subscribing. Well, guess what? The SOB's did it anyway!! I am FURIOUS! Does this bother anyone else? or am I making something out of nothing?
