I have a copy of a Declaration of Intent for my 3ggfather, Michael Morris. It is dated 26 Oct 1881. I have never been able to find anything else on him concerning his naturalization. I have looked at microfilm available through the Family History Library, but there is nothing else on there besides this. These papers were filled out in Lee County, probably in Keokuk. Does anyone know where I can obtain more information and to see if he actually did become a citizen. His 1900 census records states that he did. Where can I write to try to obtain more information...ie. which courthouse, etc. Gayle Lambert
