I have posted three biographical sketches (John C. Atlee, Peter Okell, and Joseph B. Atlee) concerning the Atlee family of Ft. Madison to the Lee County biographical section, as they were quite lengthy to post here. John C. Atlee is the father of the mentioned Samuel, Peter Okell is a brother-in-law of Samuel, and I'm not real sure of who Joseph B. Atlee is. I suspect that he may be a half brother of John C.
