Born March 31, 1877 at New Boston, Ia. Married 25 Sept 1898 to Sim (Simeon) Griswold at Charleston, Ia. Her maiden name was Geneva Martha Swinderman. Member of Santa Fe Methodist Church. Survived by her husband and 3 sons: Frank M, Howard Fred, Maurice, all of Fort Madison; 3 daughters: Mrs. George Dovin of Fort Madison; Miss Esther K. of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Miss Ellen Margaret of Fort Madison,Ia; 1 siser- Mrs. Harry Pezley of Montrose, Ia.; 6 brothers: Lawrence Swinderman of Charleston, Ia; Edward A. Swinderman of Charleston; Joseph C. of Carthage South Dakota; William A. of Donnellson, Ia; Walter G of New Boston, Ia; (John Charles Swinderman missing from printed obit). Also survived by 2 grandsons, Myron and Richard Griswold. Her parents, 5 children and 1 brother, Frank Swinderman preceded her, her brother dying on Nov 2, 1933. Funeral 2:30 Sunday at Santa Fe Church. Buried Elmwood Cemetery.
