The best way to find a grave at Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, Iowa is to find a cemetery worker. They have a map and can show you exactly where the section you are looking for can be found. In some cases the headstone. I would never attempt to walk Oakland Cemetery to find a grave, it is much too large. You can ask at the library if they have a map of the cemetery. Some of the sections are marked, others may not be. The Oakland Cemetery listing at the library will give you section and lot numbers/letters. There is an office at the cemetery but your chances of catching someone there is slim and none. The cemetery workers are helpful if they aren't real busy at the time. Hello, I will be visiting the Keokuk, Lee, IA. area in May and wondered where the best genealogy resources can be found there. I am looking primarily for death records, obituaries, burial sites and anything else that I am lucky enough to find. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. N.
