In short they have many good resources materials to help you. The library staff is good to help and assist you in many ways. The library is located at 210 N. 5th, Keokuk, Iowa. Death records are at the Recorders office at the South Lee County Courthouse, 25 N. 7th St., Keokuk, Iowa. Record keeping began in 1880. There are some early records but not many. Hello, I will be visiting the Keokuk, Lee, IA. area in May and wondered where the best genealogy resources can be found there. I am looking primarily for death records, obituaries, burial sites and anything else that I am lucky enough to find. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. N.
