CORA MOORE, 87, FORMER TEACHER IN SCHOOLS HERE, DIES Mrs. Cora B. MOORE of 612 North Fourth Street a former Keokuk school teacher, died at 6:15 PM. yesterday, in the Graham hospital. She had been confined to her bed for the last two and a half weeks. Eighty-seven years old, she was born December 26, 1860 in Quincy,IL., The daughter of William and Elizabeth GILBREATH HIGGINS and had been a resident of Keokuk for he last 83 years. She taught in the Torrence school for many years. On December 31, 1891, she married Edward MOORE in Keokuk. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and of Chapter U.P.E.O. The last of her family, there are no survivors. The funeral will be held in the Schmidt Memorial Home at 2pm. Friday.
