Early Settlers of Lee Co, There seems to be a relationship between the Wilson family and Carr family of Lee County, Iowa and Mcdonough County, Illinois. Amaranth Wilson Born 1800 Jackson County, Tennessee died 1820 Wayne County, Missouri.  married name unknown, married had one child and then died. 2.) Sarah Wilson born 07 Nov 1801 died 10 may 1867 buried, Iowa. Married Richard Dunn 3.) Elizabeth Wilson born 11 Apr 1804   4.) John Martin Wilson born 02 Nov 1806 died 18 Jan 1886 Industry, McDonough County, Illinois married Martha Ramsey Vance both are buried in the Vance Cemetery, Industry, McDonough County, Illinois. (12 children to this couple) this is my line. 5.) George Wilson born 22 Jul 1809 died 20 Mar 1891 buried in the Wilson Cemetery, Jefferson Twp. Lee County, Iowa married Rebecca Wallace 6.) William L. Wilson born 17 Aug 1811 Indiana Territory. married   had (3) sons 7.) Thomas Wilson 15 Apr 1815 Indiana Territory. married Mary Gilkey Justus (this gen is on line) 8.) James Carr Wilson born 04 Sep 1816 ,,,Kentucky  died 14 Apr 1886 Sonoma Twp. Hancock County, Illinois. James married Jeantte Golden (9) children. Golden genealogy is on line. 9.) Do you have the information from 'Biographical Review Lee County Iowa' 1905 ? Hughey and Susan (Skyles) Wilson George Wilson was born on the banks of the Cumberland river in Tennessee, in 1809, came to Lee county in 1834. His marriage occurred in Schuyler county, Illinois, July 22,1832 and his wife died June 2 1878 and he March 20, 1891 Their eleven children are: There are a number of pages if you do not have this information I can photocopy it and mail it to you.
