Cathleen, I don't think these Wilson's are connected to the Wilson ancestors in IL. I have very limited information on our Wilson connection as I haven't really researched them. Just noted in your previous mail the Wilson name in an IL county that boarders Schuyler Co., IL from where our Montgomery family came to Iowa and thought I'd ask you about them. Sorry I wasn't much help to you. I have copies of three Naturalization records from Lee County Iowa in which the following men from Germany renounce their allegiance to the King of Bavaria. The are for: Charles Frank (signed Franck, date looks like 1851 but register says 1856), Jacob Frank (signed Franck, date 1855), and William Frank (date 1860). Charles and Jacob's records state they arrived in the U.S. before they were 18 years old. Stephanie Europetty@yahoo.com

Thank you for your response. I am aware of the genealogy on line, however I was wondering what the connection is between the Wilson /Skiles line and the "Carr" family. I have the Wilson genealogy from Hugh and Susan forward, to about 1920 in my Wilson Bible transcript and have submitted much of the information to the LDS site sometime ago. I thought perhaps someone might have something a little farther back. I'm afraid I didn't word my inquiry to that understanding.
Just your mailing address I will make copies in the morning. I hope it helps you.
