    3. Sorry, again no. I did find a George R. Johnson who married Maria Walker - there is a note that both were colored. They were married in 1903. I also found a George E. Johnson who married Leota Bailey in 1920. Neuse died at the residence of his son in law, Peter Haubert, No. 1124 Main street, at 11:30 o'clock this morning. The deceased was born in Frederick City, Maryland, March 24, 1827 and came to Keokuk in 1840. For a number of years he resided in this city subsequently removing to Montrose. About two years ago he returned to Keokuk and has since made his home with Mr. Haubert. He served his country as a Lieutenant in the Seventeenth Iowa infantry during the Civil War. For six years he suffered from bronchitis and catarrh, and for the past two years his health had steadily declined. Monday night he was stricken with paralysis and that was the immediate cause of his death. Two daughters, Mrs. Peter Haubert and Miss Anna Neuse, and a brother, Frederick Neuse all of this city survive him. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 10 o'clock Friday morning and the body will be taken to Montrose for interment. The Daily Constitution Wednesday Evening, Jan 29, 1890 page 8, Co #2 The funeral of the late Henry D. Neuse occurred today. Brief services were held at the residence of Peter Haubert, No. 1124 Main St. at 10 o'clock under the auspices of the G.A.R., Rev. E.A. Bazett-Jones officiating. The body was conveyed to Montrose on the noon frieight train, where it was met by the G.A.R. Post of this place. Messers. S.P. Callihan, G. Paardekooper, Wesley Worley, A.D. Witherall, Chas. My g-grandmother married a man by the name of ------ Wilson(don't know his first name, really don't know much about him) my g-grandmother, Stella Dayton lived in Kansas City,MO and between 1921-1925, she married and divorce this Wilson man. Because I know she remarried her first husband, William Braton in 1925. Can someone please help me find something about ----- Wilson. Both Stella and William was born, raised, and lived in Montrose(Lee Co) IA during their first marriage. Thank you Anne
