    3. Could you make clearer the link from Sarah Ann Case to Susannah Jackson? Especially the link to Jackson Case. Do you know anything about him or Susannah? And did Sarah have any other sisters or brothers? I am trying to find "my" Jackson Case (I know there are about three different men of the same name in the same states about the same time frame,...so my search has been pretty rough.) But I have nothing on his parents or siblings,...though I have a "hunch" his mother was Susannah, and he might have had a brother named George H. and a sister named Independence. But these are not defiant, just "hunches" so this is why I'm interested in what you have on Susannah Jackson Case and Jackson Case. If Sarah Ann was Susannah and Jackson's then her birthday fits 1 1/2 years after my Jackson Case birth. So it's a possibility. But was wondering if you had anything else that might clear anything up for me. They are the parents of only one child being my gr-grandmother, Mary Josephine ESTES who was born 6 Apr.1847 Lee Co.,IA. As Mary Josephine ESTES was born 2yrs. *prior* to their marriage....she was either born out of wedlock or possibly Mahittable MINTON was married previously....tthis is my rock wall. I am searching for any MINTON / MINTUN connections to try to locate any further info. Over the years I have been in contact with the Lee Co. Gen. Society and have hired (2) researchers and the results have proven nothing in locating anything earlier on Mahittable's parents, etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you... 2. Pat Jones
    3. Keokuk & Hamilton Bridge Posted by pat <pinetree@telepath.com> on Fri, 26 Jan 2001 My ggrandfather, Patrick HIGGINS worked for a railroad and was killed in 9 Jun 1884 when he slipped while trying to board an engine on the Keokuk & Hamilton Bridge (info from his obit). While he lived in Hamilton, Hancock County, Illinois, he is NOT buried there according to the Hancock County Genealogical Society. I have reason to believe he may be buried in the Keokuk area but haven't the slightest idea where to begin looking. (His wife's body was shipped to Keokuk for burial when she died in 1919). They were Roman Catholic, if that helps. Also would like to know where this bridge is/was located. Also, what railroad?
