I may have put this out here before, but in case of new subscribers,am wondering if anyone has access to old Jones County obituaries? Specifically for the year of 1885. Am looking for an obit for my ggrandmother, Catherine Farrell Byrne (or maybe Burn) who is buried in the Catholic cemetery at Castle Grove. Not sure if it was January or June of 1885 that she died. Is there a county library that might have the old newspapers on microfilm? Thanks in advance. Pat (in MN)
