Pat -- Sorry. This was about 4 years ago. I have one cover letter Mr. Aitchison sent me but nothing about a charge. My recollection is that I wrote to the Historical Society with a general inquiry and Mr. Aitchison, who was president of the Historical Society, went ahead and did the search. I suppose I offered to reimburse him, but he may have declined. In any case, I was much in his debt. Regarding Castle Grove, I can't help you. I do not live in that part of the state. I did look in a CD of phone numbers, but found nothing. It is possible that Castle Grove is too small to have a telephone exchange and you might have to look under another town name.
