Hi! I don't know how much help this will be to you, but my mother was taught in high school by an Elsie Bowersox. This was at Shellsburg (Benton Co.) I later had her for seventh grade and she had married an Anderson. They lived in CR, but are no doubt long deceased by now. Janis Palo
