I think the biographies are great, even tho I know none of the people, I always hold out hope that perhaps it might be someone from my ancestors part of the country and Ill learn more about my ancestors way of living etc. Besides that, I always look upon the biograhies as a learning situation where a part of history, culture, or morales of the time are revealed in describing even a perfect stranger.
