Now you asked for information on Mr. Smith but by all of us reading the same information you'll learn that Mr. Jones owned say a hardware store which some family named JONES might later learn by reading such a post. It's interesting that you can also access this same information by some other locations. A distant cousin of my husband's has become friends with me via geneology .... HE did a search once looking for posts by HOSTERS or something and came up with posts by me on a DOLL board. Truthfully he knew who I was obviously but if he hadn't and was looking for someone named Hoster he'd have found one by doing such a search. Also the Jones family could do a search for information on Adam Jones on this board or other boards and generate the post which mentioned HIM in the SMITH post. THIS is why I wish people would understand that this isn't just "worthless" or bothersome information! I can almost see their annoyance if we'd been chatting on this board about recipies for chocolate cake but THIS IS geneology and thus is very important information.
