14 January 2002 Looking for any information regarding Henry W. Foster, b.1820 Erie, PA, married Sarah A. (Forbes?) b.1828 in Erie, PA. Henry and Sarah moved to Stephenson Cty., IL and from there to Union Twp., Sabula, Jackson Cty., IA. They are recorded in the 1860 Census. They had the following children: George C. b.1851 IL; Willard S. b.1853 IL; Augusta W. b.1857 IA, m.George Haynes, Sabula; Francis A. b.1860 IA; Jennie F. b.1862 IA, m.Lyman Haynes, Sabula; Mary b.1869 IA. Henry's brother, Peter B. Foster was one of the early settlers of Waverly, Bremer Cty. Peter moved from Stephenson Cty., IL to Waverly in 1853. There may have been other brothers in Riceville, Mitchell Cty., IA. Henry W. died in 1883 and Sarah d. 1893 and are buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Sabula.
