Surnames: TURNER, MCKEE, MCGEE Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5k.2ADE/1255.1 Message Board Post: My great grandfather Edward Turner had a sister named Mary Turner who was the Godmother to my grandfather Patrick Turner in July of 1857 in Garryowen, Jackson County, Iowa. I am looking for information on Mary and Edward. Have no information on Mary other than her name on a baptismal certificate. Edward, Mary and their sister Catherine emmigrated to the US sometime in the late 1840 or early 1850's. Edward and his wife Margarette Mckee/Mcgee settled in Garryowens in about 1855-56. Any information would be helpful.
