Horace & wife Margaret came to Jackson Co. ca 1868 and are buried in Mt. Hope cem. They came from IL. Children that I know of are Ann, Harriet, Thursa, Horace, Edna, Ida and Mu;rtie. Harriet and Thursa may have married brothers by the name of Caneing or Cowing. I would like to hear from anyone researching the Mitchell name. Janis
