John was married to Elizabeth Pontel/Pantel. They immigrated from Germany with young son John. Other children born to the family while in Iowa included Clara, Annie, Marie, Elizabeth and 2 or 3 brothers. John, wife and daughters moved to Oregon in the 1920's but the boys stayed in Iowa. I am looking for decendants of the Stamen boys. I know son John married Francis and they had children. I also know there was an Alma Stamen so I am guessing she was married to one of the boys.
