Hi List, Does anyone know of a for hire type person who would obtain records from Jackson County? I've been writing the Psychotic people since last January and all they do is send me an old mimeographed copy of a paper advertising a Genealogy Society that doesn't answer mail either. Their Motto "MY ONLY WISH IS TO SERVE YOU WELL" doesn't seem to work. If I write to ask for a record they just send my check back with yet another of them mimeographed papers with lots of high lighting and arrows pointing to the Genealogy Society that doesn't have a clue.

The Jackson County IAGenWeb site has a Lookups page and one of the Lookup volunteers works between the city library and the county courthouse. He has volunteered to do lookups in either place.
