Robinson who was born Feb. 1836 in West Virginia. His wife was Mary and was born Jan. 1853 in Pennsylvania. She may have been a second wife as she was 14 yrs. younger than he was. I am trying to find out if he was the step father of Judson Day Henry (b. 1879). Judson married Edith Dilts in 1899 at Anita, Iowa. Judson's mother had married a Robinson (first name unknown) and Judson Henry's wedding announcement called her and her husband "Mother and Father Robinson". I never knew my grandfather, Judson Henry, and I am trying to find out where he went by seeking some Robinsons who were connected to him. The wedding announcement said that M. V. Robinson came to the wedding and so did C. D. Robinson. I found M. V. Robinson in the 1880 Iowa Census Index for Jackson Twp., Jackson Co., Iowa and he was with Nancy and George. I haven't looked this family up at the library yet, but I wonder if Nancy was his wife at the time and! George a son. Then I found him in the 1900 Iowa Census for Grant T., Anita, Iowa. His wife, Mary, was with him in that Census. I am wondering if Mary could be the mother of Judson and M. V. was her 2nd husband or if they were related to Judson in another way. I know very little about my grandfather's family so I am grasping at any clue I can find. I hope someone can help me.
