I believe my ggg grandfather is Matthew Sinkey b. Sept 25, 1808 in Huntingdon, PA - d.Feb 3, 1894 in Jackson Co, IA adn is buried at Hickory Grove Cemetary and married a Nancy Houston in Licking Co, Ohio . I believe his father was William (abt. 1766 in PA & married 1788 to Mary McCartney in PA). I am trying to find out what country they came from and so far have not gotten any further back than PA. If you can offer any information, I would sure appreciate it. I think I'm at a dead end. Deb in Iowa
