OH both living IA 1 yr. Milton age 6 b. IN; [there is a marking in the deaf and dumb column for him] William age 5 b. IN; both of these children living IA 1 yr. Jacob age 0 b. IA. Also with them is Elizabeth Silverhouse age 69 wd. b.PA living IA 1 yr. and a Jerry Villrain 21 b. Ire potter. Hope this helps.
Peggy; Would you look in Iowa township, Jackson Co, on the 1856 state census to see if my William and Faith Kitchen are there? I have found them on the 1860 Fed Census there but not sure when they came to Iowa. Also if you have the Clinton co, Deep Creek township 1856 state census, would you look for a Thomas Kitchen and his wife Charlotte. they are also on the 1860 Fed Census. Thomas and William were brothers. Thanks.
