I am searching for information on an ancestor that was in H Company and enlisted from Bellevue IA 2/14/1864. He mustered out at Nashville in Aug 1865. I have some information from his file from the National Archives but precious little else. If, in the course of your work, you come across anything for a Henry Dirksen/Dirkson, I would be grateful if you would pass it along. I know he is buried in Bellevue and died at an early age but do not know the cause of death.
