I'm not sure why I never seen it. I do not know of a connection with your Sophie M. Heide. My GGGrandfather was Johann H. Heide, b. 2/6/1835. From the information that I have, he had a sister named Augusta, unk birthdate, and 2 brothers, Karl Fredrick Heide, b. 8/7/1831, and Frederick, unk birthdate. This is from my Heide Book, but it also states " there were probably more children in this family". This family is from Schleswig-Holstein, near Eckernforde, in Germany. They also went to Iowa, but to Crawford County.
