Della married Alonzo Coonley in Morrison, IL, on July 7, 1878, where I believe they must have lived the rest of their lives as they are both buried in Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison. Their son, Arthur James Coonley, was my grandfather, and his son, Arthur McKee Coonley, was my father. If you can help me with Della or her parents I would be thrilled. He married in 1860, Miss Illinois Carpenter, a niece of ex-Gov. Ansel Briggs, the first Governor of Iowa. Our Dorchester's in Bellvue were the family and descendants of Anthony J. Dorchester. There's also a connection to an E. G. Potter. My cousin Jon Sielck is a direct descendant of that line. I am descended from A.J.'s sister Martha Dorchester Perkins. Both of us would be very interested in any connection you could make for us on this. Here's Jon's telephone number in Los Angeles (213) 380-2159. He does not have E-mail. I use the E-mail address above for all my research so pardon me if it has taken a while for me to reply. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Kevin O'Brien Laguna Hills, CA

I was adopted by my mothers second husband in the late 70's and had no contact until I was about 15. I have only had opportunity to visit them about about 4 times in the last 13 yrs. I don't know if it is the same line or not but since I was litarily taken from the family when I was 3 I am interested in hearing form my relatives on that side. From the ones I know they are very warm and loving people and even though I don't see them often as I live in Virginia when I am there they treat me as if I have been there all my life. My grandparents seem to know quite a bit about the family tree and They may know some of the people you are looking for.

I am searching for the origins of Heinrich Gerd Tebben who supposingly came to the USA 1849 thru New Orleans while escaping the Prussian draft. This is all info passed down thru generations. I have not been able to confirm it or find the exact emigration date and origin of my GGGrandfather. Tebben is a strong German name. I found a German genealogy site at http//db.genealogy.net/ofb/emsbuerem/ which has hundreds of Tebben surnames dating back to the 1600's.
