Hi Do you know who the parents of Samuel LAMBORN were? I'm related to the Lamborn family in Chester Co., Pa and wondered if he could be connected to them? The origianal ancestor in America was Robert LAMBORN, son of Josiah LAMBORN of East Hampstead, Berkshire, England. There were also some Lamborn's from Centre Co. Pa (Bellefonte area) who moved to other parts of Pa. Thanks! Jean Corio Tampa, Fl
This guy is a spammer and guilty himself of harvesting e-mail addresses. He wants to scare you (he succeeded) and get you to buy his product. And you don't even know if it is going to work. I just got through with a meeting of some of the coordinators of the IAGenWeb Project and someone has come up with a rather simple solution for hiding e-mail addresses in the HTML code of our web sites. However, it would take time to do it as the code has to be changed manually for each page. It may take some time (a long time) for other coordinators to adopt this or a similar solution. I don't know when I will be able to get to it myself, but at least I know I can do *something*. Charlotte M. Meyer Jackson County IAGenWeb Coordinator http://www.rootsweb.com/~iajackso
I also got this and it was supposed to come from a sdgenweb site.

I got the same message, do not reply, delete it. This is a email harvester, if your ISP has a anti-spam address, forward the message to that address. Mr Lamborn was a staunch democrat and has long been regarded as the wheelhorse of the party in this community. He had filled nearly all the township offices with which his fellow citizens could honor him. He was born in Venango Co, PA., April 24, 1838. Educated in Pennsylvania and reared within its limits until sixteen years of age, he accompanied his parents to Jackson County, Iowa, in 1854. After a period of twenty seven years residence there, he moved to a farm four miles south of Griswold. There he continued to farm until 1897, when he fixed upon Griswold as the home of his retirement from active labor. Ellen Shaffer became his bride in 1860. Mr and Mrs Lamborn reared seven children, all of whom are living. Mrs Lamborn preceded her husband in death. The sons and daughters surviving their father are Charles W., an attorney of Chicago; Perry E., a Kansas farmer; Millard F., of Canada; Walter A., a Denison druggist; Mrs Sarah Hodge of Salt Lake City; Mrs Jessie M Bryant and Mrs Jennie Christian of Griswold.
