I don't have a copy of the 1850 census for Henry Co., IA, but found this is the 1852 "special census" for Henry Co: Jackson Township - Elizabeth MASON 4 males 4 females Jefferson Township - A. W. MASON 6 males 3 females Center Township - R. C. MASON 3 males 3 females MASON marriages in Henry Co. to 1850 were: Jane MASON and John W. McCULLY 20 Jun 1848 Isabella MASON and Samuel FARLOW 4 Sep 1850 Robert MASON and Sharlott T. FARLOW 4 Jun 1848 William B. MASON and Hannah BROWN 21 Jul 1850 Martha Ann MASON and John KURTZ 31 Oct 1850 I had MASONs in Henry Co., also - a family that allegedly came from Scotland about 1831, spent a short time in New York, then Indiana, before coming to Henry Co., IA. The Jane MASON and Isabella MASON above are definitely part of that family, and I think Robert MASON is, also. I have never been able to find their parents' names. Can anyone help with that?
