I have a bunch of connections with Henry Co., IA. William S. Mathews and his entire family: I am interested in information on them. Some of the descendants are Joseph Mathews, m. Ada Jessup; Harrison H. Mathews, m. Caroline Nicola (I think ??), and Adeline Mathews, m. Simon P.B. Martin. Those are some; I have others, but can't remember them. Andrew Hesser, Jr. m. Eliza McCune, I think. His family is also of interest to me. Some kids were Mary Louise, Della, and others; Andrew's siblings would also be of great interest. More later. I am also interested in the Martins who settled in the area; namely Bonham Martin, who married Phoebe Conklin and Esther De Marce. Those descendants would be of interest. It is his son, Simon, who married Adeline. There were other children, but Bonham should be almost enough of a clue as the name is rare. (Alexander Campbell Martin, Ananias Conklin Martin, Lewis Martin, James M. M. Martin, and others were his sons). I am interested in sharing any information. My grandmother, Esther Lorene Martin grew up near Wayland, just like her ancestors (listed above). She now resides in Norway, Benton Co., IA.
