Eathan LINN [1832-1900] and Homer LINN [ca.1834- ] were two of nine children of Henry County residents John E. LINN [1798-1879] and Elizabeth SWINEHART [1801-1842]. Eathan and Homer left Henry County in 1852 bound for Oregon. After spending some time in the Oregon and California gold fields, they settled in Walla Walla County, Washington, where they had a livery business. I have some further information on both, if anyone is interested. A family story is that Homer LINN was murdered and his herd of cattle stolen. If true, it probably occurred in eastern Washington in the 1880s. Does anyone know anything about this story, or about the life of either Eathan or Homer? Sandy Wilbur Gresham, OR
