Hello, Several DeGarmo families lived in Henry County, IA in the mid 1800's to early 1900's. I'm looking to contact the ancestors of these families, as women change their names when they marry and are difficult to trace. Anyone who has a connection to a DeGarmo family member no matter how remote I'd like to hear from you. Just recently I found some Garmoe families living in Henry County, and I'm wondering if the Garmoe's are related to the DeGarmo family. Can anyone help me? Bill DeGarmo
