Hello fellow researchers. I've found my gr gr grandmother, Malinda Lyle (or Melinda, as the census has it), on the 1850 Census for Henry County. It lists her parents as William and Ellen Lyle (30 and 24 yrs, respectively, both born Ohio), and a brother as John (4 yrs, born Iowa). Can anyone located any deeds or other records for this family that might pinpoint where in Ohio William and Ellen came from? Thanks.
