A sign of the times in Henry Co.-1856 Here is a copy of a letter written by Abraham Smith, Henry Co to his brother, Peter, in Indiana speaking of money owed Abraham from father's (Peter) will. Abraham also had a son, Peter, that he speaks of as being in Oregon (oragon). It is interesting to note he included the price of commodities at the close of his letter!
