Hi Ellen and fellow researchers, I'd be interested to see any letters anyone has. I found it rather interesting to see the viewpoint of someone from that time period, even if I don't agree with much of it. I had ancestors fighting on both sides of the Civil War, so the topic is of interest. And it was nice to see what some of the crops and their prices were,too. Anyone having old letters to relate in any way to Henry county (to or from Henry Co residents or about Henry County itself or it's residents) ought to transcribe them to the list, if they would, I think. Just my opinion. I find this history fascinating. :-) Makes the people more than just names and dates. Happy researching to all...
