Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 18, 2006 at the Church of Christ in Missouri Valley with Pastor Ron Wymer officiating. Organist was James Doty and vocalist Britt and Mike Liljedahl. Selections were "The Old Rugged Cross" and "On Eagle's Wings." Honorary casket bearers were Jack Bertelson, Bob Busson, Dean Andersen, Kenny Clinken-beard, Jerry Bertelson, Chuck Shook and Doug Short. Casket bearers were Forrest Gochenour, Stewart McDunn, Jerry Wortman, Larry Jones, Frank Salter and Kim Bertelson. Final resting place was Grange Cemetery in Honey Creek. The flag presentation and color guard was by Julius F. Mueller American Legion Post #337. Kenneth was born Jan. 3, 1942 in Council Bluffs to F. Ray and Ethel (Olsen) Fulfs. He was married to Karen Bonham Aug. 14, 1993. Kenneth graduated from Tri-Center High School in 1960 and attended Dana College in Blair, Neb. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a charter member of the Missouri Valley FOE 3876 and served as president and past president. He was also a member of FOE 3876 Joint Memorial Team and served as treasurer and trustee. Kenneth spent his years in the agricultural business working with Cargill, Valley Fertilizer, Terra and King Agri Sales. He retired July 28, 2006. He loved going to Arizona in the wintertime, cooking, playing cards and going to his grandchildren's baseball games. Survivors include his wife Karen of Missouri Valley; son Perry Fulfs and wife Holly of Seattle, Wash., daughter Deanna Radcliff and husband Dan of Palmyra, Va.; brother Ben Fulfs of Missouri Valley; step-sons Gail Hatcher and wife Cheryl of Council Bluffs; Monte Hatcher and wife Michelle of Logan; three grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Nina Fulfs and his parents. The Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
