Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Union Community Church in Marshalltown. Burial followed in the Union Cemetery. Margaret was born on May 24, 1914 in Marshalltown, the daughter of Denver and Margaret Swearingen Huston. She worked at the Marshalltown Hospital during WW II making bandages and later at the Iowa Veterans Home in Laundry. Margaret was a member of the Union Community Church who enjoyed gardening, quilting and was an avid reader. Margaret is survived by two sons, Jim (Deborah) Greenwood of Dunlap and Dr. Gordon Greenwood of Bensonville, Ill.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn (Robert) Benson of Liscomb and Shirley Wagner of Cornell, Wis.; brother, Floyd Huston of Calahan, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Cleo Huston, Russell Huston and Forrest Huston and one sister, Ruby Henness.
