Kephart, 41 08/23/2004 Justin L. Kephart, 41, Magnolia, died Aug. 7 as a result of a traffic accident in Monona County near Moorhead. Justin Leon Kephart was born Oct. 27, 1962 in Fremont, Neb. to Marvin and Anita (Loges) Jensen. Justin worked for Blue's Amusements for many years. he also worked at Jenny-O Turkey, Wilmar, Minn., as well as in hog confinement, making flags at Blackburn's in Oakdale, Neb., Small's Fruit Farm near Mondamin; and recently had started working for Myer Construction, with occasional jobs in between. Justin loved to sing, dance, play guitar, watch wrestling, throw horseshoes, hunt, fish and work outside. He was a fun-loving man who loved to play jokes. While on his way to Minnesota, at a gas station, in a very convincing voice, he told a man that he had dropped his pocket, going as far as looking along the ground to help the man find it. He was also a thoughtful man. He made a tape for his grandmother, Elizabeth Loges. While working at the carnival, it was nearing Christmas and he was short on money. Justin thought the tape would be a perfect gift that he could afford, so he made it and brought it home to her. Justin was preceded in death by his step-father, Eugene Jensen; grandparents, John and Elizabeth Loges and Ernest and Ida Kephart; sister, Tammy Kephart; brother John Kephart; and by Charolette McCaige. Survivors include: his daughters, Tabetha, Justine and Tamila; mother, Anita Jensen, Magnolia; father, Marvin Kephart of California; special friend, Sharon Lawson, magnolia; brothers, James Kephart and his wife, Debi, Mondamin; Jerry Kephart and Robin Grose, Magnolia; Jack Tacner and his wife, Karla, Little Sioux; Rodney Tacner and Tracy Brouwer, Missouri Valley; Jay Jensen, Missouri Valley; Steven Jensen and his wife, RaeShelle, Neola; Jesse Kephart of California; sisters, Angela Kephart and Gary Cook, Omaha; Stella Wilson and her husband, Kevin, Missouri Valley; step-brothers, Robert Jensen and his wife, Rita, Hooper, Neb.; Duane Jensen and his wife, Diana, Fremont, Neb.; step-sister, Vicki Sieve, Boone; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services were held Aug. 11 at the Logan Memorial Chapel, Pastor Marsha Campbell, officiant. Honorary bearers were: Kevin Wilson, Duane Jensen, Darrell Weed, Danny Jenkins, Ryan Robertson, Bob Jensen, David Grundman, Dwight Cox, Bryan Chambers, and Bruce Altimers. Casket bearers were: Jim Kephart, Jack Tacner, Jay Jensen, Richard Cox, Jerry Kephart, Rod Tacner, Steve Jensen, and Bob Stevens.
