Funeral services were held Feb. 12 at the Methodist Church in Logan with Pastor Marv Siems officiating. Organist was Barb Sherer and vocalist Rick Powell. Selections were, "On Eagles Wings," and "How Great Thou Art." Honorary casket bearers were Gene Evans, Roger Seeley, Jim Grosvenor, Ron Greenwood, Melvin Pitt, Gaylord Pitt, Alvin Dinkel, and Chuck Dickinson. Casket bearers were Gale Dickinson, Gary Dickinson, David Dickinson, Jerry Sherer, Lynn Dickinson, and Larry McMillen. Final resting place was Harris Grove Cemetery in Logan. Eva was born May 3, 1933 in Harrison County to Roy A. and Nettie (Kellogg) Dickinson. She graduated from Logan High School in 1951. On June 17, 1951 Eva married Jack McMillen at the Logan Methodist Church where she was a member. To this union a son and daughter were born. Eva was employed at Farm Bureau and then spent 15 years working for Moore Brothers Grocery Store and spent many years enjoying her work as a volunteer at the Welcome Center. She enjoyed being in the neighborhood card club. Her life focused around family and friends and she loved being the "favorite" aunt. Survivors include her husband Jack McMillen of Logan; son Terry Gene McMillen and wife Leeanne of Orange City; daughter Connie Lee Weeder and husband Dan of Osmond, Neb.; grandchildren Dawn Wiederholt and husband Ted, Megan McMillen and fiancée Josh Malenosky, Brittnee Weeder, Brandon Weeder; great-grandchildren Jack Wiederholt, Clara Wiederholt, Sam Wiederholt; brothers Donald Dickinson of Logan, Robert Dickinson and wife Sondra of Woodbine, Harold Dickinson and wife Marie of Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother LeRoy, sister Dorothy and sister-in-law Ruth. Memorials may be given to the Arthritis Foundation.
