Siebels, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2007. Virginia and Gerald, formerly of Minden, Iowa, have resided in Charlottesville for the past two years. Virginia was born on September 18, 1927, in Missouri Valley, Iowa. She was a graduate of Missouri Valley High School and Jennie Edmundson Nursing College. Virginia and Gerald were married on August 3, 1949, in Minden. Virginia and Gerald resided on a farm near Minden for more than forty years. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Miner Nelson; her son, Thomas; as well as her brother, Rich and her sister, Joyce. Virginia was the loving parent of six children, Pamela of Larchmont, N.Y.; John Jay of Austin, Texas; Susan of Earlysville, Va.; Diane of Charlottesville, Va.; and Alan of Upper Montclair, N. J. She is also survived by her sister, Myrna Botos, of Missouri Valley; sons-in-law, Walter Panek of Larchmont, N.Y., David Davis of Earlysville, Donald Kimpel of Charlottesville, Va., and her daughter-in-law, Carolyn Siebels of Minden; five grandchildren, Hudson Panek of Larchmont, Carly and Jared Siebels of Minden and Matthew and Megan Kimpel of Charlottesville.
