April 14, 1930 - April 24, 2007 ©The Dunlap Reporter May 11, 2007 Word was received here of the death on April 24, 2007 of Richard R. Schmidt, 77, of Salina, Kan. "Dick" was born in Dunlap on April 14, 1930, and graduated from the Dunlap Public School in 1948. He was District Manager for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Salina, Kan., and had worked for them for 25 years when he retired in 1985. His wife, Vivian, preceded him in death. Three daughters survive him. He was buried in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery in Salina, Kan., on Saturday, April 28, 2007. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
