Does anyone know anything about a Carilla Smith of Harrison Co., IA? She was b. abt 1876 in Iowa to Amenzo/ Menzo Smith and Angeline 'Annie' Bolter. I have not been able to locate her after 1895. At that point, she was still single and living w/ her parents. Does anyone know, was there some type of illness that swept through the Harrison Co. area in the late 1890's? Carilla's step-grandmother Celia Hatfield- Bolter also seems to have disappeared after the 1895 IA census. Any help would be appreciated! Cec Barton-Murrah
