Daily Nonpareil Council Bluffs IA Nov 22nd 2004 MISSOURI VALLEY - Jack W. Peterson, 82, of Missouri Valley died Nov. 20 at the Vinton Lutheran Home in Vinton. Jack was a long-time rural mail carrier and also worked for Ralston Advertising in Omaha. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane, of Vinton; children, John Peterson and wife, Dorothy, of Tyler, Texas; Judy Deschenes of Las Vegas; Nancy Edison and husband, Keith, of Columbus, Neb.; Jeff Peterson and wife, Patti, of Vinton; Jackie Smith and husband, Tim, of Davenport; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley with visitation to follow. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Missouri Valley. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Missouri Valley.
