Bose 10/02/2003 Harold Isaac Bose, 71, of Council Bluffs died Sept. 30 at Midlands Living Center. He was born Aug. 25, 1932, in Clarinda to Ellison and Mary (Moore) Bose. He lived in Council Bluffs since 1955. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a truck driver for Wynne Transport Company. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 0333 in Essex. Mr. Bose and his wife, Norma (Coomer), were married 50 years. Survivors in addition to his wife include daughter, Vicki Deckard of Blair, Neb.; sons, Larry Bose and Mike Bose, both of Council Bluffs; brother, Robert Bose of Essex; two sisters, Kathryn Stranbrough of Essex and Cheryl Bose of Shenandoah; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be tonight from 7 to 8 at McCurdy Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Kraft officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park. Memorials may be offered to Dodge Memorial Congregational Church at 3200 Ave. C or the family. ©Daily Nonpareil 2003
