Daily Nonpareil Council Bluffs IA May 30th, 2004 MISSOURI VALLEY - Mass of Christian burial for Alvin Herman Rath, 89, of Logan will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Missouri Valley. He died May 27 at Longview Care Center in Missouri Valley. Survivors include a son, Richard and wife, Joyce, of Sumner; a daughter, Catherine Fellows and husband, Randy, of Omaha; a son-in-law, Greg Otterberg of Omaha; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A rosary will be recited Monday at 7 p.m. at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley. Visitation with the family will follow. Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Missouri Valley.
