Reeves, 71 April 30, 2004 Donna Mae Reeves, 71, Council Bluffs, died April 12 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, after an eight-month, courageous battle with cancer. She was born Sept. 20, 1932 in Douglass, Kans. to Ray and Esta Mae ( Morgan ) Adams. She attended the Red Bud School and graduated from Udall High School in 1950. Donna married Melvin Reeves in August of 1950 in Minnesota. She moved to Mondamin in 1967 where she resided until October of 2003, when she moved to Council Bluffs. She worked as a waitress at the Kopper Kettle in Missouri Valley from September of 1975 until August of 2003 when her illness forced her to retire. Donna was preceded in death by a brother Pete Adams and a sister, Lois Lemon. Survivors include daughter Jackie Reeves, Council Bluffs; sons, Kim Reeves of Arizona; and Todd and his wife, Lisa, Reeves, Irene, S.D.; five grandsons, Lance, Aaron, Ethan, Matt and Jake; one granddaughter Lynzee; one great-grandson Haden; brother Bob and his wife, Barbara, Adams, Udall, Kans.; and sister, Dorothy Crisman, Klamath Falls, Ore., and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held April 14 at the Udall City Cemetery, Udall, Kans., the Rev. Cathy Holley, officiant. Casketbearers were, Lance Reeves, Aaron Reeves, Ethan Reeves, Matt Reeves, Lynzee Reeves, and Jake Reeves. Honorary casketbearer was Haden Reeves. Interment was in the Udall City Cemetery.
