Hi Listers, I'm an Australian, of Danish descent - and just last night found a listing for my 1c2r James M. Albertson in Logan, Harrison Co. (Well, *two* listings - his phone number, for 1905, is there too) ;-)) My question: could SKS please check this reference for me? *** 1967 Centennial for Logan, Harrison County, Iowa (Letters A through C) ALBERTSON J. M. 49, 60, 65 *** (I have scanned the list of genie volunteers, but this exact reference isn't offered by anyone). BTW, I can say that I had an exciting scamper last night, with the help of some genies on the Denmark-L. Seems that James M., wife Edith, and daughter Dorothy moved from Logan to Lincoln, Nebraska (1920 census) then to Omaha, Nebraska (1930 Census). I might even have found a living U.S. relative - this last Census shows a grand-daughter, Merrilee (C?) ALBERTSEN, aged 2-1/2 (so, c.76 now). (But I will concentrate first on finding her grandfather) ;-)) Many thanks, Lesley (Melbourne, Australia ... a seriously wintry day here, in late autumn)
