I have found 2 Wilbers about the right age. The first is with the family of John J. Johson and wife Olive. listed in the 1880 Iowa Census for Harrison County, Iowa. Other children: Albert S., Frank, Louis, Bessie. John J. Johnson married 2nd Alice Smith 23 Dec. 1881 and had childre Blanche, Jessie (who married Elmer W. Poore), Fred, Nellie and Glen. The second Wilber that I found was with the family of Henry and Belle Johnson along with John, Charles, Wilber H. and Ada E in 1880 Monona County. Your help is appreciated. The Wilber that I am looking for had a son named Waldo Johnson who was not killed with the family.
