Pryor, 63 June 25, 2004 William Madison (Bill) Pryor, 63, died June 10 at the Rose Vista Nursing Home, Woodbine. Bill was born June 27, 1940, in Woodstock, Va. to Jesup and Minnie (Peets) Pryor. After high school, Bill worked on various road construction projects that brought him across the country. He met some friends in the Modale and Little Sioux areas and settled there. He continued with his career as a construction worker. Due to health reasons, Bill had to retire early. July 15, 1998, he entered Rose Vista. Bill enjoyed reading, especially the evening newspaper. He loved being in the out-of-doors, and he had a knack for remembering dates of various historical events. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Charlotte Virginia Pryor. He is survived by two sisters, Christina Bauserman, Strausburg, Va., and Shirley Wolfe, Mount Jackson, Va., and other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service was held at Rose Vista Nursing Home, Woodbine, June 14, Elders Noel Sherer and Gary Lee, officiants. Vocalists were Meg Kohles, Noel Sherer and David Sherer.
