Dickerson June 14, 2004 John E. Dickerson, 52, Omaha, died at his home, May 28. John was a mental health therapist for Alegent Health System, Missouri Valley. He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Roy Dickerson. John is survived by his wife, Kallen S. Dickerson, Omaha; daughter, Grace, at home; mother, E. Florine Dickerson, Sioux Falls, S.D.; brothers and sister-in-law: Raymond W, and Susan Dickerson, Billings, Mont.; V. Lee Dickerson, Sioux Falls, S.D.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dr. John W. and Janet Barnes, Omaha; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Kim and Richard Manning, Kelly and Robert Beckel, Kerri and Wilcil Hector, John and Rebecca Barnes, Daniel Barnes, Kristine Barnes, Timothy Barnes, Kara Barnes; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass was celebrated June 1 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Omaha. Private family interment was held at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Missouri Valley. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the John E. Dickerson Memorial Fund. Heafey-Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler Mortuaries, Omaha, were in charge of arrangements.
